NASVHILLE, TN – A motorcyclist was fatally struck by a car at an intersection in East Nashville on Saturday night, NBC 4 reports.
The collision happened at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and the Ellington Parkway at about 11 p.m. on May 15, when a motorist made a left-hand turn onto Douglas and struck a westbound Harley-Davidson.
The 37-year-old male victim was not wearing a helmet and was not licensed to operate a motorcycle. The vehicle’s headlight was evidently not functioning at the time of the collision.
