CROSS PLAINS, TN – The driver of a grease tanker was injured after the rig overturned in Cross Plains early Thursday morning.
According to Smokey Barn News, the collision took place shortly before 4 a.m. within the 4000 block of Woodrow Wilson Road.
It is unclear at this time what caused the tanker to overturn. However, it was not fully loaded at the time and created minimal road hazards.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
