CLAXTON, TN – One young person died and two others were seriously injured as the result of a pickup truck crash last Friday night, WVLT reports.
The accident occurred at an unspecified location in the Claxton area.
Police say there were eight individuals in the truck at the time of the crash, some of which may have been in the bed of the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, police are investigating the possibility that the minors were served alcohol at a commercial business prior to the incident.
The identities of those involved are not being released at this time.
