NASHVILLE, TN – A Metro Police officer was involved in a multi-vehicle collision on I-65 early Saturday morning, WKRN reports.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes of I-65 near Exit 90 at about 5 a.m. on May 23, when a car collided with the back of a semi truck and overturned. Medical personnel were treating a patient from the initial collision in an ambulance when they heard a crash. It seems that another car rear-ended a police vehicle that was parked near the crash.
The driver responsible for the second collision was treated at the scene. It is not clear whether the police officer was injured.
