NASHVILLE, TN – A major rollover crash on I-40 sent one woman to the hospital early Monday morning.
According to a report by WKRN, the crash took place at about 6 a.m. along the ramp from Green Street onto I-40 East.
An SUV carrying two women and a small child was struck by another vehicle and rolled an unknown number of times before coming to rest on the ramp.
The driver of the SUV was extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Fortunately, the second woman and the child were both uninjured.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the collision at this time. Our team will update this blog once that information is available.
