NASHVILLE, TN – Metro police are searching for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run collision in southeast Nashville early Saturday morning.
According to WSMV, the crash was reported at about 5:40 a.m. within the 300 block of Haywood Lane, near the intersection with Chambers Drive.
Investigators say a 55-year-old man was struck by a blue Hyundai, which immediately sped away from the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect is believed to be a white male, no further identifying details have been provided.
