NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person was hospitalized following a major single-vehicle wreck on I-65 early Monday morning.
According to a report by WZTV, the crash occurred at about 3:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate, just before the I-40 split.
Metro police say the driver was fatigued when they lost control of the vehicle, struck a sign, and went airborne. It then hit a grassy median before coming to rest in the southbound lanes of I-65.
One person was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. It is unclear if any other injuries were sustained in the crash.
