NASHVILLE, TN – A man was killed as the result of a single-vehicle crash in Nashville’s Brentwood neighborhood early Saturday morning.
According to WTVF, the collision occurred along Old Hickory Boulevard, near the intersection with West Park Drive.
Investigators say the male passenger in the vehicle was hallucinating under the influence of heroin and fentanyl. The female driver said he began to stab at the back seat of the vehicle with a knife, causing her to lose control.
The vehicle skidded off the right side of the roadway and collided with several trees.
The man suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Fortunately, the driver was unhurt.
