NASHVILLE, TN – A dump truck driver was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned on I-24 last Friday afternoon, WKRN reports.
The accident took place shortly before 3 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate at Bell Road.
It is unclear at this time exactly what caused the truck to overturn. However, all eastbound lanes were blocked for about three hours while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The unidentified driver was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
