NASHVILLE, TN – A major tractor-trailer fire shut down all eastbound lanes on Briley Parkway on Tuesday afternoon, WKRN reports.
The incident took place at about 2:11 p.m. at Mile Marker 21.8, just west of Clarksville Pike.
It is unclear at this time what may have sparked the fire. However, no injuries have been reported as an immediate result.
The blaze was knocked down shortly before 3 p.m. The wreckage was moved to the shoulder by 5 p.m., allowing traffic to slowly get by in the remaining left lane.
