NASHVILLE, TN – Several lanes were shut down following a collision on I-40 late Wednesday morning.
According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred shortly before 10:15 a.m. on the westbound side of the interstate, near the Spence Lane overpass

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, at least three westbound lanes were closed as a result.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision. Traffic was restored after the wreckage was moved to the shoulder at about 10:40 a.m.
