NASHVILLE, TN – A man was fatally struck while walking along a busy interstate near downtown Nashville on Saturday.
According to a report by WKRN, the man was hit by a Chevrolet Traverse at about 1:10 a.m. while walking along I-40, near Fesslers Lane.
Investigators say the unidentified victim was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. No charges have been filed against that individual.
