NASHVILLE, TN – An overturned box truck shut down a busy on-ramp in East Nashville on Thursday.
According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred at about 7:23 a.m. along the ramp from westbound I-440 to eastbound I-40.

It is unclear at this time what caused the truck to overturn. However, no injuries have been reported as an immediate result.
The ramp was shut down for nearly 3 hours while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened by 10:30 a.m.
