COOKEVILLE, TN – A man was killed and a woman was flown to the hospital following a motorcycle accident in Cookeville on Tuesday, WKRN reports.
The crash occurred at about 8:50 p.m. along West Jackson Street, near the intersection with Buffalo Valley Road.
Police say the victims were riding a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle when a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck turned left in front of them, causing the vehicles to collide.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old man, died at the scene. His 20-year-old female passenger was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
