ROBERTSON CO., TN – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Robertson County last Saturday night.
According to a report by WKRN, the crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway, near Coopertown.
Troopers say the victim was walking on the right lane of the interstate when they were struck by a pickup truck.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed against the driver of the pickup at this time.
