NASHVILLE, TN – Commuters faced significant delays resulting from a collision in the Bellvue area on Friday morning.
According to Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-40, near the exit to US-70 South

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, photos from the scene show two left lanes blocked by emergency vehicles with traffic getting by slowly in the remaining lane.
No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash.
