NASHVILLE, TN – A 60-year-old pedestrian died and another woman was arrested following a hit-and-run in the Madison area on Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by WZTV, the 60-year-old pedestrian was in a motorized wheelchair and was struck by a Chevrolet Monte Carlo at about 1:20 p.m.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet immediately fled. However, their vehicle was located a short time later on East Webster Street.
The suspect, who has been identified as 60-year-old woman, was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication.
