NASHVILLE, TN – At least one lane was shut down following an early morning crash along I-40 near downtown Nashville on Tuesday.
According to Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate, just before the I-24 split.

The cause of the crash is unavailable at this time. Traffic camera footage shows four vehicles, including a box truck, blocking the far right lane of travel.
It is unclear if anyone was injured as an immediate result of the crash.
