NASHVILLE, TN – Commuters in southwest Nashville faced significant delays resulting from a rush-hour collision on I-40 Tuesday morning.
According to Total Traffic Nashville, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-40, near the Donelson Pike interchange at about 7:40 a.m.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, no injuries were reported as an immediate result.
The HOV lane, along with at least one left lane was blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene.
