FRIENDSVILLE, TN – Two people were hospitalized following a T-bone collision on Highway 321 on Monday afternoon.
According to a report by The Daily Times, the incident occurred at about 4 p.m. near the intersection with Lane Drive.
Firefighters say a driver from Missouri was heading to the Smokey Mountains when their car was T-boned at the intersection.
Both occupants in the second vehicle suffered injuries in the crash. The driver was flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment, while the passenger was transported to Blount Memorial Hospital.
The intersection was shut down for about an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
