NASHVILLE, TN – Rush-hour drivers were faced with delays after a tractor-trailer overturned on I-24 early this morning.
According to Total Traffic Nashville, the incident occurred at about 5:19 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the interstate, near Old Hickory Boulevard.

It is unclear what caused the trunk to overturn. However, the roadway was blocked for several hours while crews worked to turn the truck upright and remove it from the roadway. All lanes were reopened by 1 p.m.
It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a direct result of the crash.
