NASHVILLE, TN – A Metro police officer suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision in South Nashville early Friday morning.
According to WKRN, the collision occurred at the intersection of Harding Place and Trousdale Drive around 3:15 AM on September 17th. The unmarked police vehicle collided with a pick up truck pulling construction equipment.
The officer sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They are reportedly in stable condition.
The driver of the pick up truck was uninjured.
Authorities continue to investigate the events leading up to the crash to establish an official cause.
