NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died after a motorcycle accident on the Ellington Parkway on-ramp Thursday night.
WSMV reports that the victim was driving a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle on the Ellington Parkway on-ramp to I-65 at 11:15 PM on September 16th when they crashed into a guard rail. The victim was reportedly ejected from the vehicle.
First responders transported the victim to Skyline Medical Center where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
According to Metro Police, the accident was most likely caused by the driver’s failure to negotiate the curve of the on-ramp. There were no signs of impairment or excessive speed.
