NASHVILLE, TN – One person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in the Williamsburg area on Wednesday morning.
According to WKRN, the collision took place sometime before noon at the intersection of Broad Street and Northstar Drive.
Police say the semi-truck was turning left when it was struck by another vehicle. The second vehicle then became wedged under the truck, pinning the driver inside.
First responders used the jaws of life to free the driver from underneath the semi-truck. They were then transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
