NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a semi truck on I-24 eastbound early Saturday morning.
According to WSMV, the fatal collision occurred on I-24 eastbound near mile marker 71 around 3:00 AM on October 16th.
The pedestrian allegedly ran out in front of the semi truck before they were struck. At this time, the truck driver is not facing any charges.
The left lane and left shoulder of I-24 reopened by mid-morning.
