CLARKSVILLE, TN – One person has died after they were struck by a vehicle in Clarksville Tuesday night.
WKRN reports that the collision took place on Tiny Town Road near Green Acres Drive the night of October 26th.
The victim had been driving a vehicle eastbound when some items fell out of the trailer they were pulling. They stopped in the roadway and exited the vehicle to pick up the items. Another vehicle traveling westbound struck the driver while they were in the roadway.
The victim was initially taken to Tennova Hospital where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
Clarksville police state that the other driver remained at the scene and suffered no injuries.
