NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a vehicle on Lebanon Pike last week Tuesday.
According to FOX 17, the fatal collision occurred near the Lebanon Pike bridge during the evening hours of October 26th.
The pedestrian was reportedly walking in the middle of the roadway when they were struck. The driver reported having low visibility due to the darkness.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash and showed no signs of impairment.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They unfortunately succumbed to their injuries on Monday.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash.
