NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian died and a driver suffered injuries after a collision on Murfreesboro Pike Tuesday morning.
According to FOX 17, the fatal crash occurred on Murfreesboro Pike near McGavock Pike the morning of November 9th.
The pedestrian was reportedly crossing the road when they were struck by a vehicle. They unfortunately died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
The section of Murfreesboro Pike surrounding the crash will remain closed until 10:00 AM.
Metro Police are currently at the scene and continue to investigate the crash.
