NASHVILLE, TN – One person suffered injuries in a three-vehicle hit and run crash on I-24 West Wednesday night.
According to WKRN, the accident took place on I-24 westbound between Shelby Avenue and Spring Street around 10:30 PM on November 17th.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash and one car was totaled. However, it is currently unclear what caused the accident.
One vehicle fled the scene of the accident. Neither the driver nor their vehicle has been identified.
The driver of the totaled car sustained injuries in the crash. Their current condition is unknown.
The section of I-24 westbound surrounding the crash was shut down for two hours following the accident.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
