NASHVILLE, TN – A motorist is facing DUI and vandalism charges after they drove their car into a North Nashville home earlier this month.
According to WKRN, the drunk driver crashed into a home on Delk Avenue around 12:30 AM on November 12th.
The driver reportedly ran a stop sign before crashing into the house. The car crashed into the curb and was airborne before crash landing into the house. The driver’s blood alcohol content level at the time of the crash is unknown.
Both residents were at home and asleep at the time of the crash. It is unclear if they suffered any injuries.
The house sustained serious damage. The residents are currently searching for a new place to live.
