CLARKSVILLE, TN – One person suffered minor injuries in an apartment fire in Clarksville early Sunday morning.
According to WKRN, the fire occurred in a unit at the Pembroke Park Apartments on Ringgold Road around 1:30 AM on November 28th.
Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to the emergency call and witnessed large flames and heavy smoke upon arriving at the scene. Luckily, first responders were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other units.
One occupant suffered injuries from smoke inhalation. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The injured occupant is also facing displacement. The apartment unit sustained heavy damage as a result of the fire.
Clarksville Fire Rescue continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
