NASHVILLE, TN – Eight people have been displaced after an apartment fire in the Bellevue neighborhood early Thursday morning.
According to FOX 17, the fire broke out at The Lakes apartments at 200 Erin Lane around 12:15 AM.
The Metro Fire Department responded to the call. Firefighters evacuated the entire building.
The fire reportedly did damage to six apartment units and the roof of the building. Two apartment units sustained serious damage.
While no injuries have been reported, eight people have been displaced. The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire.
The Metro Fire Department states that the fire most likely started on a second floor balcony. However, the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
