NASHVILLE, TN – A driver has been charged with DUI after they crashed into a Metro Nashville Police Department vehicle Wednesday night.
According to WKRN, the crash occurred on Bell Road near Percy Priest Dam on December 15th.
The police car was reportedly parked in the roadway at the time of the crash with their lights on. The officer inside the vehicle was assisting in clearing an earlier crash.
The officer suffered minor injuries, but did not require hospitalization.
The driver showed signs of impairment at the scene.
