LAWRENCE CO., TN – Two people suffered injuries after a single-vehicle crash went undiscovered Sunday night.
According to WKRN, the crash occurred on Pete White Road on the bridge over Weakley Creek around 8:00 PM on December 19th.
The vehicle reportedly overturned off the bridge and landed upside down in the creek. It is unclear what caused the vehicle to overturn. Authorities did not discover the crash until around 8:00 AM on Monday.
The driver and an underage passenger both sustained injuries. They were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Their current condition is unknown.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
