NASHVILLE, TN – One person died and another suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning.
According to FOX 17, the fatal crash took place in the 1300 block of South Dickerson Pike around 6:45 AM on December 25th.
A Toyota Camry reportedly exited the roadway and crashed head-on into a utility pole.
The back seat passenger unfortunately died at the scene.
The front seat passenger and driver were wearing seatbelt and suffered only minor injuries.
Metro police state the driver smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking prior to the crash. They are charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular assault, and driving without a license. The driver is currently booked in juvenile detention.
