CLARKSVILLE, TN – Authorities discovered a crashed vehicle in the Red River early Sunday morning in Clarksville.
According to WKRN, a sergeant discovered the crash on the College Street bridge the morning of January 16th. Power lines were down and there was vehicle debris on the side of the bridge.
Clarksville Fire Rescue is currently attempting to locate the vehicle using sonar technology. A dive team is also prepared to search for the vehicle and any bodies.
Police believe the crash is related to the slick roads and recent dangerous weather conditions.
At this time, it is still unclear if anyone died or suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
