NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died and another suffered minor injuries after a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.
According to FOX 17, the fatal crash took place on the Bell Road bridge over Percy Priest Dam on January 16th.
The driver of the pickup truck reportedly lost control of the vehicle while crossing the bridge. The vehicle overturned onto its side and crashed into a concrete wall.
Police state the driver showed signs of impairment at the scene.
One passenger suffered serious injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They unfortunately died on Tuesday.
The second passenger suffered minor injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
The driver was uninjured. They have been charged with vehicular homicide and driving without a license.
