CLARKSVILLE, TN – One person suffered injuries in a severe single-vehicle crash in Clarksville Wednesday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on Madison Street the morning of January 19th.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle prior to the crash. The car subsequently exited the roadway and fell down an embankment, overturning onto its side. The driver remained trapped in the vehicle until first responders arrived.
The Clarksville Fire Department has blocked off both lanes of Madison Street during the extrication process. Authorities request that local drivers use alternate routes.
The accident remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Clarksville Fire Department.
