NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died after a late night single-vehicle accident that was discovered Sunday morning.
According to WKRN, the fatal crash was discovered in the 500 block of Metroplex Drive around 10:30 AM on February 6th.
The driver of a 2013 Dodge Charger was initially traveling westbound on I-24. For unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and crashed through a fence. The Dodge Charger then crashed into a parking lot where it collided head-on with a metal pole.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, unfortunately died at the scene.
Police estimate that the crash most likely occurred overnight. However, the cause of the crash remains unknown.
