NASHVILLE, TN – One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver Sunday morning.
According to WSMV, the crash took place on I-40 near New Hope Road around 5:00 AM on February 13th.
The injured victim was reportedly driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck when a drunk driver rear-ended their vehicle. The pickup truck subsequently rolled for over 100 feet before coming to rest on the side of the highway.
The driver of the Ford was able to escape the damaged vehicle. They luckily suffered only minor injuries.
The impaired driver has been charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license.
Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the accident.
