MAURY CO., TN – One person suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Maury County Sunday night.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on Campbellsville Pike the night of February 27th.
A Maury County sheriff’s deputy spotted the crashed car on the side of Campbellsville Pike. The car appeared to have exited the roadway and collided with a tree.
First responders discovered one person unresponsive and trapped inside the vehicle. The Maury County Fire Department was able to free the driver from the smashed vehicle. The victim was then taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center via helicopter. Their current condition is unknown.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
