MURFREESBORO, TN – A pedestrian suffered injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in Murfreesboro Tuesday morning.
According to News Channel 5, the collision took place on West Molloy Lane around 6:30 AM.
The driver of a Nissan Versa struck a pedestrian as they were walking along West Molloy Lane and then left the scene.
A passerby discovered the injured pedestrian and helped transport them to a hospital. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
The driver later returned to the scene and told police they did not realize they had hit anyone. Police cited them with driving without a license and failure to exercise due care.
