FL Man Killed in Nashville After Being Hit by Tour Van He Allegedly Didn’t Belong on But Tried to Enter
It was the first day of the new year when Nashville police were called to the scene of an accident involving a 26-year-old male and a tour bus. The Tennessean said that the 26-year-old, who was later identified as Jorge Hernandez of Florida, had been visiting Nashville when he approached a tour van at around 11:00 p.m. that evening. The van had been parked in a pay lot at 122 4th Avenue South, says the news source, and that is when Hernandez allegedly tried to enter the van with a tour group. Brother of Philadelphia Eagles Football Player Killed in Drunk Driving Accident
It was recently reported that the brother of a Philadelphia Eagles football player was killed on December 4th after a car wreck with a drunk driver. Bleacher Report stated that Derek Barnett’s brother, David was driving in Nashville when another motorist heading in the opposite direction crossed into his lane. Bird and Lime Continue to Receive Backlash as More Scooter Accidents Occur
The Bird and Lime scooters have made their way into the news yet again after two wrecks occurred in downtown Nashville involving vehicles.
When Lime and Bird first introduced their scooters to the public, many grew worried over the dangers associated with riding the electric scooter and some even fought to have them banned. While the companies managed to sustain and provide individuals with an alternative form of transportation for months, they have continued to receive criticism as more and more riders suffer from serious injuries in the accidents they are involved in. Nashville Public Radio recently reported that there have been some riders who have suffered brain trauma that was so severe that they would never be the same again.
