    One killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-65

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person has died after a multi-vehicle crash on I-65 northbound Tuesday morning.

    According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place on I-65 northbound near mile marker 82, just before the split with I-40, around 8:30 AM on December 14th. 

    A vehicle reportedly crossed over the median and crashed into another vehicle at the I-40 split. 

    The northbound lanes of I-65 will be closed up til I-440 until at least 3:15 PM. 

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police are currently investigating the fatal accident.

    Two injured in wrong-way crash in Clarksville

    CLARKSVILLE, TN – Two people suffered serious injuries after a head-on collision in Clarksville Monday evening.

    According to WKRN, the two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Madison Street and Denny Road around 7:00 PM on December 13th.

    Metro police report that a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on Madison Street when they struck another car head-on.

    One person suffered critical injuries and was taken to a Nashville hospital via LifeFlight. The second person suffered less serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. They are currently in stable condition.

    The eastbound lanes of Madison Street were closed Monday evening as police conducted their investigation of the crash. The roadway has since reopened to traffic.

    Seven injured in twelve-vehicle crash on I-40

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least seven people sustained injuries in a twelve-vehicle crash on I-40 eastbound Monday afternoon.

    According to FOX 17, the crash took place on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 202 in the afternoon of December 13th.

    The crash was reportedly caused by a dump truck that overturned and spilled gravel into the roadway. 

    One of the eleven other vehicles involved in the crash was a Metro Nashville Public Schools bus. The bus driver, a school monitor, and a student all suffered minor injuries and were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

    Four other people also suffered minor injuries. They were also taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. All injured persons are currently in stable condition.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the accident.

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on an I-40 east exit ramp late Monday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash took place on the I-40 eastbound exit ramp to Charlotte Pike at 11:31 AM on December 13th.

    The events leading up to the accident are unclear at this time. At least two vehicles were involved in the accident.

    Similarly, the number and severity of any injuries suffered is unknown.

    One in critical condition after mobile home collapses in Bell Town

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person was seriously injured when their mobile home collapsed on them near Bell Town on Saturday morning. 

    According to WBIR, a mobile home located on Sneed Road off of Highway 70 in Cheatham County collapsed around 3:45 AM on December 11th. The collapse was a result of severe weather.

    First responders were able to rescue the occupant of the mobile home. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they remain in critical contition.

    Authorities continue to investigate the near-fatal incident.

    Semi-truck overturns on I-24

    NASHVILLE, TN – There were significant traffic delays on I-24 West after a tractor trailer overturned Monday morning.

    According to WKRN, the single-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-24 on the Silliman Evans Bridge around 8:00 AM on December 13th. 

    It is unclear what caused the semi-truck to overturn.

    The number and severity of any injuries suffered remain unknown.

    The on ramps from I-40 and I-65 were shut down as first responders cleared the scene. The bridge reopened to through traffic around 10:15 AM.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
