NASHVILLE, TN – Four people suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle DUI accident last Monday evening.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on Gallatin Pike South near Madison Boulevard at 6:17 PM on February 7th.
The driver of a Chevy truck was traveling at excessive speed and attempted to pass a vehicle in the middle turn lane. The Chevy then collided head-on with a van.
The driver of the Chevy showed signs of impairment at the scene. They are facing multiple charges, including driving under the influence.
All four occupants of the van suffered serious injuries and required hospitalization. One person suffered critical injuries including memory loss. Their current conditions are unknown.
The crash remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police.
