According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the collision occurred at the intersection of South Douglas Avenue and 8th Avenue South at 11:48 AM on January 5th. 

The events leading up to the accident are unclear at this time. The cause of the crash has yet to be established.

At least one person sustained injuries in the crash. However, the total number and severity of injuries remains unknown.

MAURY CO., TN – One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle crashed into a creek Monday morning. 

According to WKRN, the crash took place on Enterprise Road near Golf Club Road around 5:30 AM on January 3rd. 

A Jeep reportedly exited the roadway and veered into Sugar Creek. The vehicle was submerged above the tires.

Maury County EMS and the Mount Pleasant Fire Department were able to rescue the driver from the partially frozen creek.

The unidentified driver suffered a broken ankle. They are currently in stable condition.

NASHVILLE, TN – One person has been arrested after a vehicle crashed into the Downtown Detention Center Monday afternoon.

According to WKRN, the vehicle crashed into the Downtown Detention Center on James Robertson Parkway on January 3rd.

Police state that the driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash. The driver was taken into custody from the scene.

It is unclear if the driver or anyone else in the building suffered injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
