    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in West Nashville Wednesday afternoon.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the accident took place at the intersection of Charlotte Pike and Lellyett Street at 1:56 PM on December 22nd. 

    Authorities have yet to establish an official cause of the crash. At least two vehicles were involved.

    The total number and severity of injuries is unknown at this time.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the crash.

    Two rescued from overnight rollover crash

    LAWRENCE CO., TN – Two people suffered injuries after a single-vehicle crash went undiscovered Sunday night.

    According to WKRN, the crash occurred on Pete White Road on the bridge over Weakley Creek around 8:00 PM on December 19th.

    The vehicle reportedly overturned off the bridge and landed upside down in the creek. It is unclear what caused the vehicle to overturn. Authorities did not discover the crash until around 8:00 AM on Monday.

    The driver and an underage passenger both sustained injuries. They were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Their current condition is unknown. 

    Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

    Man struck, killed by military vehicle at Ft. Campbell

    CLARKSVILLE, TN – One person died and another suffered injuries after an accident involving a military vehicle in Clarksville on Thursday morning.

    According to WSMV, the fatal accident took place during a training exercise at Fort Campbell in Clarksville December 16th.

    The victim was reportedly struck by a military vehicle. They were pronounced dead  shortly afterward.

    Another person sustained injuries in the crash. They were taken to the hospital, but have since been released.

    The U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center is currently investigating the accident.

    Driver crashes into Metro police car

    NASHVILLE, TN – A driver has been charged with DUI after they crashed into a Metro Nashville Police Department vehicle Wednesday night.

    According to WKRN, the crash occurred on Bell Road near Percy Priest Dam on December 15th.

    The police car was reportedly parked in the roadway at the time of the crash with their lights on. The officer inside the vehicle was assisting in clearing an earlier crash.

    The officer suffered minor injuries, but did not require hospitalization.

    The driver showed signs of impairment at the scene.

    One killed in I-24 crash

    RUTHERFORD CO., TN – One person died in a single-vehicle accident on I-24 in Rutherford County Friday afternoon.

    According to WKRN, the fatal crash occurred on I-24 near Joe B. Jackson Parkway around 4:50 on December 17th. 

    The events leading up to the accident are unclear at this time. Authorities have not released an official cause of the crash.

    One person reportedly died at the scene. It is unknown if any other people suffered injuries.

    The eastbound and westbound lanes of I-24 were shut down until 6:30 Friday evening.
