    NASHVILLE, TN – Authorities continue to investigate a multi-vehicle accident involving injuries in Midtown Thursday morning. 

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the collision took place at 2102 Vivien Thomas Way at 11:09 AM on December 9th.

    The events leading up to the accident are unclear.

    At least one person suffered injuries. However, the total number and severity of injuries is unknown at this time.

    The crash remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol.

    At least 1 injured in West Nashville crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – A multi-vehicle accident with injuries was reported in West Nashville late Thursday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the accident occurred at the intersection of Harding Hill Lane and Lindawood Drive at 11:22 AM. 

    The official cause of the accident is unknown at this time. However, at least two vehicles were involved.

    Midtown crash results in injuries

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the accident took place at the intersection of West End Avenue and Louise Avenue at 10:42 AM on December 8th.

    The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. 

    Similarly, the total number and severity of injuries is currently unknown.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. More details will be released as the investigation continues.

    Dekalb County house fire leaves 1 dead

    DEKALB CO., TN – A house fire that left one person dead in Dekalb County Monday evening remains under investigation.

    According to WSMV, a fire broke out at the residence located at 5056 Jacob Pillars Road around 8:00 PM on December 6th.

    There was one occupant inside the house at the time of the fire. They were on the second floor of the building and were unfortunately unable to escape.

    The victim died at the scene. They have yet to be identified.

    The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the fire.

    Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run accident on W. Trinity Ln.

    NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by two vehicles in Talbot’s Corner on Monday evening. 

    According to FOX 17, the fatal hit-and-run accident took place on West Trinity Lane near Hampton Street around 7:45 PM on December 6th. 

    The pedestrian was reportedly walking in an eastbound lane of West Trinity Lane when the first vehicle struck them. A second vehicle then hit the pedestrian. Both vehicles subsequently fled the scene.

    First responders transported the victim to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they died a short time later.

    Metro police state the first vehicle was most likely a dark colored 1999-2004 Ford Mustang. No information on the second vehicle is available at this time.

    Driver arrested after two-vehicle crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – Two people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Dickerson Pike Monday afternoon. 

    According to FOX 17, the crash took place in the 1300 block of Dickerson Pike around 2:30 PM on December 6th. 

    Witnesses report that a Chevy Camaro was driving recklessly when it struck a Nissan Altima. A Metro police officer witnessed the accident. When the officer approached the Camaro, the driver pulled out a gun. The officer then shot the driver in the leg.

    The driver of the Camaro was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They are currently in stable condition. Upon release, they will be arrested for federal gun and drug charges unrelated to the accident.

    A passenger in the Nissan Altima under the age of 18 was transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Metro Police Department continue to investigate the accident.
