    One killed at Clarksville manufacturing facility

    CLARKSVILLE, TN – One person has died after an industrial accident at a manufacturing facility in Clarksville Wednesday morning.

    According to WSMV, the fatal accident took place at Hankook & Company ES America Corporation around 8:00 AM on December 1st.

    The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

    The Montgomery Sheriff’s Office states that the employee was transported to a local hospital. They unfortunately succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

    OSHA and TOSHA continue to investigate the fatal industrial accident.

    Water rescue underway for jet ski accident

    NEW JOHNSONVILLE, TN – A water rescue is underway after a jet ski accident at a popular boating spot early Friday morning.

    According to WKRN, the accident occurred in Lucas Harbor around 4:00 AM on December 3rd.

    A boater reportedly requested help after his boat ran aground. Another person picked the boater up on a jet ski. While heading back out to retrieve the boat, the jet ski flipped and both people fell into the water. One person has still not emerged.

    The condition of either person is unknown.

    The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is currently assisting with the water rescue. They ask that boaters avoid Lucas Harbor until the rescue is complete.

    One killed, one injured in wrong way crash on I-40

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died and another sustained injuries in a wrong way crash on I-40 early Friday morning.

    According to WKRN, the crash took place on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 145 around 6:00 AM on December 3rd. 

    The victim was reportedly driving west in the eastbound lane. Their vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle. 

    The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They unfortunately succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

    An occupant of the vehicle that was struck suffered serious injuries. They are currently hospitalized. Their condition is unknown.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the fatal crash.

    Crash with injuries reported in Belmont area

    NASHVILLE, TN – A multi-vehicle accident involving injuries has been reported in the Belmont area late Thursday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the collision occurred on I-440 eastbound at Belmont Boulevard at 11:19 PM. 

    The events leading up to the crash are unknown at this time. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the accident.

    The number and severity of injuries remains unknown as well.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. More details will be released as the investigation continues.

    Eight people displaced after apartment fire

    NASHVILLE, TN – Eight people have been displaced after an apartment fire in the Bellevue neighborhood early Thursday morning.

    According to FOX 17, the fire broke out at The Lakes apartments at 200 Erin Lane around 12:15 AM.

    The Metro Fire Department responded to the call. Firefighters evacuated the entire building.

    The fire reportedly did damage to six apartment units and the roof of the building. Two apartment units sustained serious damage.

    While no injuries have been reported, eight people have been displaced. The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire.

    The Metro Fire Department states that the fire most likely started on a second floor balcony. However, the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.

    Clarksville crash causes significant traffic delays

    CLARKSVILLE, TN – A crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway Wednesday evening caused significant traffic delays. 

    According to WSMV, the accident took place on 101st Airborne Division Parkway at Pea Ridge Road around 5:30 PM on December 1st.

    It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

    The number and severity of injuries remains unknown as well.

    All westbound lanes of 101st Airborne Division Parkway were shut down for several hours as first responders cleared the scene. The lanes have since reopened.
