    Multi-vehicle crash shuts down I-24 at Briley Pkwy.

    NASHVILLE, TN – The westbound lanes of I-24 between Briley Parkway and I-440 were shut down Saturday night after a multi-vehicle crash.

    According to WKRN, the crash took place at mile marker 53.2 shortly after 10:00 PM. Several vehicles sustained extensive damage.

    At this time, it is unclear if anyone involved in the accident was hurt. However, the investigation remains underway.

    Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck in Clarksville

    CLARKSVILLE, TN – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after they were struck by a car late Saturday evening in Clarksville.

    According to WKRN, the collision occurred at 8:10 PM in the northbound lanes of Providence Boulevard on October 16th.

    The pedestrian was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Nashville for emergency treatment. There have yet to be any updates on their current condition.

    It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle will be facing any charges.

    Providence Boulevard remained closed until 11:00 PM on Saturday.

    At least one injured in potential DUI crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash allegedly caused by a motorist driving under the influence Monday morning.

    According to WKRN, the crash occurred on I-840 near the Carter’s Creek Pike exit around 6:45 AM on October 18th. Metro police report that a pickup truck rolled over and a semi truck exited the roadway and crashed into a ravine as a result of the accident. 

    At least one person is injured, but the severity of their injuries remains unknown.

    One person has been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence. 

    The Williamson’s County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash and will release more updates when they are available.

    Pedestrian struck and killed by semi truck on I-24

    NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a semi truck on I-24 eastbound early Saturday morning.

    According to WSMV, the fatal collision occurred on I-24 eastbound near mile marker 71 around 3:00 AM on October 16th. 

    The pedestrian allegedly ran out in front of the semi truck before they were struck. At this time, the truck driver is not facing any charges.

    The left lane and left shoulder of I-24 reopened by mid-morning.

    One killed in single-vehicle crash on Mill Creek bridge

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died after their vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into Mill Creek early Monday morning.

    According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of Haywood Lane and Antioch Pike around 1:00 AM on October 18th. The sedan was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the guardrail and overturned off the bridge, landing in the water below. 

    The events leading up to the accident remain unclear. Metro Police report that the driver did not attempt to use their brakes in the moments prior to the collision. 

    First responders are still working to recover the vehicle from the creek.

    The intersection reopened to traffic at 6:30 AM.

    Multi-vehicle crash with injuries reported in Donelson

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident in the Donelson area Friday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the collision occurred at the intersection of Lebanon Pike and Briley Parkway North at 10:04 AM on October 15th. 

    Tennessee Highway Patrol has yet to report the official cause of the accident.

    The number and severity of injuries suffered is unknown at this time.
